That is correct. "AND" would mean watching both routes in the same
watch group whereas "OR" would mean watching each route in separate
watch groups.

Subject: Dialer Watch
Hi Guys,
I just want to make sure I nail this once and for all.....
When asked to implement dialer watch, the condition may be "AND" or
"OR". For instance, "ISDN should be brought up when VLAN 50 and/or R3's
serial link goes down". I understand the logic and how to configure it
but I just need to know how to ensure that I am fulfilling the
condition.
My logic is this: for the AND condition, I must watch two routes so that
the backup link comes up only when both routes disappear from the table
and vice-versa. For the OR condition, I watch two routes in two
different watch-lists and apply them both to the DDR interface.
Is this accurate? Is there anywhere on the Internet where this topic is
broken down so that I can review it?
Any help is appreciated?
Ade
