Joe,
I hope this is the One for you!
I will just tell you what I would do and actually what I am doing with
my Security lab attempts.
If you do not make this time, just retake the written before trying
the lab again and, specially, stay out of any attempts during January
or February as the R&S lab is changing and I always like to give the
proctor some time to workout any issues with new format tests before I
try them.
I took the Security lab twice (Mar/2003 and Feb/2004) and did not
pass. I started studying again back in October because I did not want
to be the first trying the new format. My written is going to expire
in Mar/2005 so I took the written again just in case and now I can
focus in the lab only without the pressure of having to pass before
the written expires. I am scheduled for Feb/2005 and I have cash to
make it through 4 attempts 30 days apart from each other and hopefully
pass.
HTH,
Phil
