acl's applied outbound

Hi guys,

Just want to confirm a dumb little detail about acl's applied in the outbound
direction.

They NEVER affect traffic generated by the router itself, only transit
traffic.

I know for a fact this is true for reflextive acl's. I also just confirmed
this for an extended acl using ospf and pings.

But, without testing every possible variation, can this be confirmed for all
types of acl's, ie. named acl's, standard acl, etc?
