I've actually done this alot.
If you're copying the saved config's back onto the same exact rack, there's
not much of a problem.
But if, for example, you saved your config while working on rack 3 and the
next day you resume on rack 8, then you've got much more cleaning up to do.
The biggest issue is that not all the routers use the same interface
numbering.
For example, the atm interface might be numbered atm 0 on the first rack but
numbered atm 0/0/0 on the other rack or interface e0 will be interface e0/0
on the other rack.
Also, if the routers start out pre-configured with a start up config file,
you'll need to erase that start up config.
Lastly, you need to adjust the spids and atm pvc's based on which rack
you're using. All these comments are based on IE's racks, but might be
equally applicable to the situation where the first rack is vendor's A rack
and the rack you use next is from vendor B.
