Vlan allowed list

Hello group,

I am looking for some clarification on the vlan allowed list issue: let4s
say the requirement is to only allow vlan 3 and 5 on the trunk, the command
switchport trunk allowed vlan 3,5 would be used. What about the native Vlan
? My understanding is that I have to change the native Vlan to one of the
vlans in the allowed list. If the default vlan 1 is used, do I need to
explicitly allow it ? Or does it go by default (similar to pruning, where
vlan 1cannot be pruned ) ?
