Hi John,
Sorry to hear you bombed on the 2nd lab attempt. I'll be going for my 4th
lab attempt in a few weeks. Unfortunately, it's under a different Cisco
profile than my first 2 attempts - so my Cisco profile shows this as only my
2nd attempt. There's always stories about the sophomore test being over the
top compared to the 1st. Hope it wasn't true for you or for me (on my 4th
attempt!)
I understand what you mean when you write that you're getting bored with the
same lab material. You mentioned you were looking for some new study
material - I whole-heartedly recommend NMC's labs. You have to recognize
the authors of the labs - Bruce Caslow and Val Pavlichenko. Same duo that
wrote the 'Cisco Cert' book (although a little outdated now). Their labs
are gut-wrenchers. I easily think the NMC labs are tougher than the real
lab. Or, try their CheckIT labs - with the lab rental - it's a good bargain
if you're looking for some rack time. The CheckIT labs also include some of
the newer 12.2T tricks.
Anyway, keep movin', I appreciate your comments on GS and hope/expect to
some digits after your name soon! My next lab attempt is on Dec 10th.
Sean
