Hi guys,

Cisco came out with a new option in 12.2(15)T for the peer default ip address
command. I read the write up but I don't follow it since I don't understand
MPLS VPN's or VRF's.

But, I'm wondering whether in the context of the R & S lab, I need to know how
and when to use this new option and how this new option is different from the
other pre existing option.

The new option is "dhcp-pool" as in, peer default ip address dhcp-pool <pool
name>

The pre-existing option is dhcp as in, peer default ip address dhcp

Does anyone know if this new option is relevant to the R & S lab and how it
could be used without MPLS or VRF which aren't on the lab.

Also, could someone explain what's the difference between these 2 options.

TIA, Tim
