RE: DLSW bridge group Q

Well, yes, this is a 'real-world' question, but one that doesn't seem to be
answered in any one place.

It seems likely to me that if you created a bridge-group on your LAN
interface and then associated it to the DLSW bridge-group, then ALL the
Layer 2 traffic coming into that interface would traverse the WAN. This
seems incredibly undesirable, especially if you only have a few SNA clients
on that LAN.

That is more a real-life question than a lab one. IMHO, if the lab doesn't
require it, don't do it. While you will not be penalized for
overconfiguration, don't make things more complicated than they really need
to be.

Just my two cents.

Regarding DLSW, let's say we extend a VLAN to a router interface and then
use a 'bridge-group' on it, to link it to DLSW. If our remote peers are over
a WAN interface, will all of the bridged traffic from that VLAN be sent over
the WAN to the remote peer?

Or, do we need to create an LSAP output list to ensure non-SNA traffic is
prevented from crossing the WAN link?
