Sergio,

The rule of thumb for the CAR Bc is 1.5 seconds worth of traffic at the
policed rate. Since the rate is in bps and the bucket is in bytes, then
256000/8 times 1.5. Why do you not use the MQC "police" command? It is
more powerful in terms of matching, it has a more granular token calculation
algorithym, and it will enter default burst values. Cisco compares the two
methods at the link below.
