RE: CCIE Study Book for LAN Switching Study

Hi

Kennedy Clark's book is more theoretical, my book is more practical.
Obviously my book is a little more up to date, covering things like QoS
and Security.

Reference materials - a lot of my own experience, some of the
architectural stuff I got from internal Cisco contacts, and a lot of
referencing CCO. The main point about the book is that every scenario is
lab tested, so is guaranteed to work (software bugs withstanding).

I haven't seen the Cisco Catalyst QoS book, so can't really comment.

Thanks
Justin

If you don't mind my asking, what reference materials did you use in
writing this book? CCO stuff or other specific texts? Also, what
differences do you see between this book and Kennedy Clark's LAN Switching
book, or Cisco Catalyst QoS (Froom, Flannagan, & Turek)?

cheers,
robbie
