RE: DNS verification

If you have "ip domain-lookup" configured and no dns-server, the router will
broadcast for dns lookups. If you have dns server configured but not "ip
domain-lookup", it won't work. You can verify all these by using "debug ip
packet" and then mistype something in the enable mode like:

We just have "ip domain-lookup" configured:

R1#debug ip packet
IP packet debugging is on
R1#kk
Translating "kk"...domain server (255.255.255.255)
.Oct 29 13:43:11.427: IP: s=162.1.13.3 (Serial1), d=224.0.0.10, len 60, rcvd

.Oct 29 13:43:11.643: IP: s=162.1.13.1 (local), d=255.255.255.255 (Serial1),
len 48, sending broad/multicast
.Oct 29 13:43:11.647: IP: s=150.1.1.1 (local), d=255.255.255.255
(Loopback0), len 48, sending broad/multicast
.Oct 29 13:43:11.647: IP: s=192.10.1.1 (local), d=255.255.255.255
(Ethernet1), len 48, sending broad/multicast
