ping without IP in menu

I want to config a ping in menu but without config the
IP, so I can ping any IP. But I can not make it work.
 

My config is:

menu menu1 options 1. pause
menu menu1 text 1. ping
menu menu1 command 1. ping

When I choose 1, I got: incomplete command.

Does anyone know how to make it work?
