Hi
I hv enabled the BGP dampening for dampen the specific BGP routes,
router bgp 100
bgp dampening route-map FLAP
route-map FLAP permit 10
match ip address prefix-list FLAP
set dampening 15 750 2000 60 -------> question on this, do u need
this defualt value
ip prefix-list FLAP seq 5 permit 112.0.0.0/8
ip prefix-list FLAP seq 10 permit 113.0.0.0/8
I do not have any plans to change the default dampening timers...
Then do i need to specify,
set dampening 15 750 2000 60 under the route map.
Does it take the default value any way...
I have read before that whenever i use a route-map to set the
dampening i should statically mention the dampening value even if i do
not want to change the default values.
Any verification on is appreciated
