Hi, that's my understanding of it. Of course you might also want to use redist conn in non-ISIS situations where you don't want all of the connected subnets to be automatically redistributed.

That means if a router is connecting any 2 routing
domains .. then we dont need redistribute connected ,
but if one of the routing domain is ISIS when we need
to put redistribute connected in the other routing
protocol .. to carry that network ...
