Hi Everyone,
GroupStudy will be down this evening as I move the site to a new
server/co-location facility. Our current server is five years old and
frankly needs help. With the move, I have upgraded the operating system
(now going on six years old) to something that was produced in this century!
While I have spent my vacation working 14+ hours/day for the last four days
on this upgrade, I am sure we will find glitches. GroupStudy is a
combination of about 20 separate programs and scripts. All were upgraded or
affected in some way by the OS change. Some scripts were written unique for
groupstudy and required a manual rewrite. So chances are we will have
problems :-).
If you find you are unable to participate in GroupStudy after the change,
please send me an e-mail. Since my groupstudy.com address may no longer
operate, please send bug reports to PacketPaul@gmail.com.
This will be the first of many exciting changes you will see on GroupStudy
over the next few weeks.
