I don't know if I'm the only one, but when I use 12.3 IOS and attempt to
setup one way dialing with dialer map statement by removing the dial
string I get strange behavior that I never noticed before.
Specifically, the bri 0/0.1 never comes to an up state. When I debug
dialer on the router without the dial string in the dialer map
statement, I see that a call inbound is attempted, but there is no
dialer map to match....
I don't recall seeing this with my 12.2T releases. Hence, I've resorted
to creating dialer interfaces for these scenarios and not inputting the
dialer string.
I know there has been a bit of discussion on the list the last two weeks
for one way ISDN. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this?
