RGMP & CGMP & IGMP Snooping

Please, anyone can clarify what is the difference between these 3 features?

Previously, i thought CGMP was "another way" to avoid innecessary
multicast flooding for Catalyst switches that did not support IGMP
snooping... but i have seen that there is something similar called RGMP
that curiously needs IGMP snooping to be enabled and that is incompatible
with CGMP...

I'd be very grateful if someone can clarify the differences between these
features and when each one must be used
