Bidirectional PIM question

Hi Group:

I read some info about Bidir-PIM, but i have this question.

1-Since there is no registering proccess using this form of PIM, and also
the RP never sends register-stops messages, then i can say that the
multicast traffic uses all the time the shared tree (through the RP) and
never reverts to shortest path tree (SPT)?
