Hi,
I need help to figure out a solution for this MPLS VPN problem, which an Inter-AS and non-MPLS transit AS are needed for the request:
|
AS100 | AS200
Site1 -------- PE1 ---- P1 ---- ASBR1 ==== ASBR2 --------P2------ PE2 ------Site2
| |
|------- Router2------|
AS300
In case ASBR1 and ASBR2 loose direct connection, they still can go through the transit AS300 via Router2. But ASBR1 and Router2 can not exchange BGP labels
via "neighbor x.x.x.x send-label", neither can't Router2 and ASBR2.
I have tried using using route-map with "set mpls-label" to exchange labels between Router2 and ASBR1/ASBR2, but does not seem work. And not IGP is running at the DMZ links at this deployment.
what I am thinking is without "neighbor x.x.x.x send-label", the LSP will break at Router2, so the only option is to configure a GRE tunnel between ASBR1 and ASBR2.
But I am still wondering there is any easy solution as I am not that comfortable to have an GRE tunnel across ASs.
Any help is appreciated.
Mike
