Just an advice, do not get the habit of relying on cdp for port mapping.
Even in real production networks, it is usually considered insecure to
enable it,

Show CDP neighbor will easily solve this problem. What if you are not told
in
the real lab what the interface to switch mappings are. Just make sure you
check the switch ports to see what VLANS they may be preconfigured in, make
sure those vlans exist, then make sure that CDP is enabled on both sides and

"wala". CDP will tell you what port is connected to what router on said
port.
I never take any of that documentation for granted. Remember there is a
thing
called human error.
