dialer rotary group creates a one to many relation between a dialer
interface and its physical interfaces. It is considered legacy config,
and allows to apply a single logical configuration to a set of physical
interfaces.

dialer pool/pool member creates a many to many relation, and that is
called dialer profiles. You can actually have more logical interfaces
than physical interfaces using this scheme.

multilink is kind of an independent issue.
