Hi members,

Which is the default - next-hop-unchanged or next-hop-self over the eBGP
peering?
My understanding is that the next hop is automatically updated to the
sender when it is sent to eBGP neighbors, so next-hop-self is the
default.

However, when working on the lab 2-4 of Cisco Press R&S Practice Book, I
found the next-hop-unchanged appears to be the default behavior. Has
anybody have noticed and any explanation?
