On all ccie practice labs I've seen required sync to be disabled. Since the
new code has it disabled by default I cant really see when/where they would
ask for it. It's such an archaic command anyways :) I do it just out of
habit really. I cant think of any situations other than what you've
mentioned although I am looking now :)
