I've looked inside my 2500s and noticed a PCMCIA slot. Is this
someplace to put flash memory for storing filesystems?
Anyone know....

thanks for your replies..........the reason I am asking this question is
because I accidentally broke one of the flash slots and I am trying to
see if I can get away with one 16 MB flash stick. If this is not
possible, then I will have to buy a new router and I am not looking
forward to that.
If anyone has any other inputs, please let me know.
Thanks,
Imran.

To the best of my knowledge, flash compatibility is determined by the
code on the boot ROMs and Cisco has not released boot ROMs capable of
addressing a single 16 MB flash stick.
