Eric,

Growing up, I got two pieces of advice from my mother...

The first was to try everything once, except incest and folk dancing. This
one doesn't really apply here.

The second was to never argue with children or idiots. This one is
completely relevant.

Don't let someone's insecurity ruin your mood - you should feel on top of
the world for passing !!
