You are absolutely right, I spoke with an excellent engineer today, knew the
4506 inside and out and really got things moving. Turned out to be a simple
fix but he really followed good troubleshooting guidelines and got me
rolling. Doesnt matter if it's CCIE or not, I'm no spring chicken when it
comes to troubleshooting but I dont know everthing either, no matter how
close I am to the CCIE goal. Even then, I'm sure I can be taught a thing or
two (or many). If your not satisfied have your case requeued or wait a bit,
the cases get assigned by time zone...I feel I get good service from RTP so
I usually try to get my cases in around early morning, sometimes I get
australia but they are not that bad either.
