Depends on what you are trying to test. For ISIS, etc you need enterprise
code so would suggest 12.2(17)a. Other good code is 12.2(1)d and lastly
there is the 12.1 T code.

Does anyone know which IOS would be the best for the 2500 series for those
of us that still use 2500's for the lab.
It really doesn't matter to me if it doesn't do everything the 2600 series
do, as I cannot see investing more money into my home lab at this time. I
may only put in on a few of the 2500s so I can still do IPSec tunnels,
etc...
