Hello Team,
I have just completed the last lab in the book. And have read the entire
book. I would like to give my feedback of the book, first of all I
would like to mention I have done several workbooks already, boson labs,
ccbootcamp labs, doit labs, and the internetworkexpert labs over 200
labs. I have to say that the cisco press book is a true gem, probably
one of the best lab books that I have done. Let be a little more
specific in the Cisco press book there is a section called the LAB
Debrief and in this section you will find verification tools to show you
that your config is working and how to review your config. As an example
one of the verification commands is show run | b router ospf, another
example is show ip route eigrp, so it will only show you the eigrp
routes. Not only are the verification commands very efficient, there are
ones for each section. Again I had to go to an expensive bootcamp just
to learn some of these commands that are listed in the book. There is
also great recommendations in the appendix for exam strategy. And all
the debug and show commands for each technology in another appendix.
I highly recommend completing this book before your lab exam, it is at a
competitive price for only $50, and it is written by a proctor. I would
also like to say to keep informed at the ccie website, as their will
soon be a sample lab. Also, again, if you need rack to do the Cisco
press book, I am offering my rack for Free, just check my website below
go the calendar section, and let me know which day you would like. Also
you can go to cisco press website and download a sample chapter of the
book. I also have a support forum where you can post questions on the
book. Also there is not many errors at all unlike other cisco pratcial
studies book. I give this book 5 stars.
Sincerely,
