Thanks for the heads up. In out setup we were using the voice/data over the
same wire, on a large scale deployment (450 users) on 2 Cat 6500/w inline
power blades.

The 3550 are not 802.3af compliant

The Cisco 3560 is 802.3af compliant

As long as the phone and switch are both compliant it should work.

I have Cisco's 3560 with Mitel IP phones and work OK

We did some testing with the Avaya vs. Cisco (went with Cisco) but the
Avaya's had their own power, but worked well with the Cisco switches.
Not
sure if the phones mentioned below take power (at the time we tested,
Avaya
did not accept power from the switches).

Sorry for the OT, but does anyone out there know of any interoperability
issues with the above subject line?

These Avaya ip phones will be plugged into Catalyst 3524's, 3550-24's,
4006's, and 4500's.

Any config recommendations would be helpful.
