Hi Swaroop and Group,

Concerning your inquiry as to the effectiveness of the CheckIT labs, I highly recommend them.
I have taken them, after failing the lab, and have found that they have helped me isolate in a very granular way the connectivity issues that led to my failure on first and second attempts.

I can not stress enough the importance of the feedback they give you, and how it has effected my strategy in preparing for my next attempt. If I would have had the advantages of doing these labs and the workbook Before my first 2 attempts, I would have most likely saved about 3 grand in expenses (lab costs as well as travel). Please do not forget to memorize the structure of the TCL script (which I neglected and I've paid for it) to check your connectivity. It is extremely useful in spotting your connectivity issues that form the core of the lab, even when you think you have your IGPs configured correctly. Practice this on your routers at home so that you can bang it out without thought. That's one less thing to consider on a day when stress is high. I have found what sloppy and unacceptable errors I make, how to isolate them, and how to fix them.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have specific questions about the CheckIT labs, I highly recommend them.

live long and prosper,

margaret
