 Yes, you can. There are a bunch of caveats as far as which feature set, platform, and trunking protocol are concerned. Off the top of my head, I think the trunking rules are:

ISL - needs to be 100mb interface, no exceptions

Dot1q - supported on 1750 or higher 1700s, 2600, 3600 and above 10 mb interfaces. Older platforms like 7000 and 4000/4500 may need to be 100mb interface. It's chipset dependent. Support starting in a 12.0 release I think, though it may be 12.0T or 12.1. And on the lower end platforms at least, it needed a 'plus' feature set.
