Can you give examples of Enterprise features we would need for the 12.2T
lab that would not be available?
I was looking into this and it appears that the features we need are
availabile on 12.3 Basic Enterprise for 2600 non-xm.
IOW, briefly, what features do we need for lab are not available?

It comes down to feature sets. You can run 12.3 on a
(non-XM), but you cannot get the Enterprise feature
set, because the images are too large. (If you look at
the images for the XM, they require 32/96 Memory)
You can use a reduced feature set, like IP Plus,
depending on what features you want to configure.
