(512000 bites/second) * (10 ms) / (8 bits/byte) = 640 bytes

Subject: IE Lab 13 Task 9.5

Anyone with this workbook know why they came up with the value of 640 for
frame-relay fragmentation ?

The task is basically a QoS task to ensure that the serialization delay of
any packet is never more than 10ms.

CIR is 512000

Any ideas ?

Thanks,

-marc.
