I recently ( in May) attended the IE bootcamp.
Brian & Brian are fantastic.
The whole week was spent going over systematically what to lookout for as we
went through each topic.
Re: Cost/ Benefit Analysis: Included with Bootcamp at no additional charge
is their practice labs workbook.
The workbook consists of 20 labs that are at about the same level of
difficulty or slightly more difficult as the real lab. The labs cover, as
you would expect, all the topics you will see in the real lab.
But, the real gem is the Solutions Guide that goes with the practice labs
workbook. The Solution Guide explains in detail why the answer is the
answer. And, this too was included at no additional cost to me.
Summary: Price includes Bootcamp, practice labs workbook and Solution Guide
to workbook.
Now, if any of these items weren't truly high quality, then it wouldn't
matter how little it cost because if these items didn't prepare you for the
lab, they wouldn't be worth anything. But, my personal assessment is that
each one of these items is Best in Class on it's own merits.
I can't comment on any other bootcamp's but I know you won't be disappointed
with IE's bootcamp. As far as workbooks go, I have worked on practice labs
from other vendors and none, in my opinion are as good, especially when you
consider the IE's Solution Guide which is included for free.
