Derek,

        There is no default speed, it depends what it is clocked at.
The clocking can be provided locally via the "clock rate" command or on
the provider side at the CSU/DSU. The maximum rate that the interface
supports will be dependent on the hardware module.

        If you are asking how to determine what the maximum speed is,
you have to check the hardware specs for the particular module on CCO.
