With so many experts on this wonderful list, I like to ask another question. I am a little bit confused by reading configuring ATM.. Regarding ATM PVC, one is static and another is dynamic. Can I assume that this is similar to frame-relay map and invers-arp? The impression I have is that ATM will not work by simply configuring the IP address and PVC in the interface so I always have to use the static map to reach other end.
