Hi:

As you know, the 1700 series routers support some kind of wic named "wan
ethernet card". I think this type of hardware only can support ppp over
ethernet to be attached to an dsl modem or cable modem.

Can i use this type of interface to connect to a ethernet switch using
802.3?
I think not. Please, anyone can confirm?
