RE: Failed first attempt

Did you reboot all of your equipment before your final ping connectivity
check? Were you able to ping every interface in the network from each
router? Did the route tables on each router contain exactly the information
it was suppose to?

The littlest thing such as a switch port in the wrong VLAN can result in a
total failure.

Most everybody feels extremely confident they passed after they walk out of
their first attempt. I have noted that most people pass on their first
attempt when they are not feeling as confident.

When I walked out of my first attempt, I felt I definitely failed. There
were 13 points that I know for sure I did not get, leaving only a 2 point
buffer between pass and fail.

My point is, don't focus on the score report and trying to get the re-grade,
unless, you were within a couple of percentage points in every topic. Focus
on how to improve what you already have done.

You will nail it next time. Good luck.

Yep, I search the archives when I was in the hotel. The exam wasn't hard, or
maybe I should say I'm lucky to have an exam that doesn't include 2 of my
weakest topic in it. :D that's why I'm also confident I'll do well. The
percentage of re-read passing is 0.3%, I'm checking my solution now as well
to make sure it's correct before requesting it. 30th was the last date to do
12.2, wasted the chance.

Hello Kian,
I am sorry that you failed your first attempt. I can sympathize being in
your situation as many people can as well. If you really think that you
passed for sure and have no doubt than maybe you should go for a
re-grade. Sounds like you did pretty well to finish in 4 hours. I am
sure your preparation has been solid. Also keep in mind that not many
people pass on the re-grade, I think only .03%, not sure on the exact
figure but I remember it being pretty low. Also consider the factor
could take weeks to find out what you got after re-grade. I know that
you are going through a difficult time, search the archives there have
been others that have thought about re-grade, including myself, what I
did was that I just kept working hard and increase my intensity level,
and then the next time I got it. Good Luck!
