Hai
My understanding is with the no peer neighbor route command PPP will
create a host route on either side , the moment the link is down. It
will remove that host route which will cause a database change in ospf
make your demand circuit flap..

In my case with having no peer neighbour route I can see host route
create and deleted from the routing table. Still my demand circuit works
with out kicking the isdn.

Thunai,
What is your understanding of the problem the peer neighbor
route creates with an OSPF demand circuit?

Hai

I am using Cisco IOS ver 12.2(7r). I am have two routers connected
over ISDN running ospf. With out using no peer neighbor-route my demand
circuit is working. I can see the 32 bit host route installed on the
both the router and removed the isdn comes down. However my demand
ciruit still working. Is that a recent addition....
