Hi guys,
Is there a way to clean up ppp over atm after making some initial
configuration errors?
This is what I'm talking about.
I wanted to create a pvc using ppp over atm.
When I first configured ppp over atm, I did so on a p2p sub-interface. Then I
decided I ought to use a p2m sub-interface.
I created a new p2m sub-int and did a "show ip int brief".
But, when I did the "show ip interface brief", the output showed the ip
address in 2 places: on a virtual-access 1 and on the virtual template.
Could someone explain what's going on and how I can get the output of the show
ip interface brief to look the way it's supposed to?
Is there any way to clean this up besides rebooting the router?
Also, how do I decide if I should use a p2p or p2m sub-interface? Will either
type work for pvc's? For svc's?
Any insight and guidance would be greatly appreciated.
TIA, Tim
