Hello,
Thought of giving this tip to the list members whom plan to use WinGate
RTP.
I used it recently and it is a quiet peaceful place that offers free shuttle
to/from the airport, Cisco, and other places around. It also offers Free
high speed internet service.
This is generally speaking, now to the tip :). If you plan to use the hotel,
I recommend reserving directly through the hotel by calling them rather than
using online reservations via companies like hotels.com and similar sites. I
did reserved through expedia.com and while checking out I noticed that the
bill hotel offered me to approve is less than expected ( Room price through
agencies was around $90, where as directly through the hotel costs $67/night
) So after taxes room price jumped from $75/night to be $104/night. When I
spoke with the hotel manager about it, she explained that possibly it is the
agency mark up.
I guess this would be valid not just with the WinGate but also with other
hotels where reservation is not made directly through the hotel.
