Tim,
Not sure if I'm the "Ken" you are looking for, but I don't know of many more "Kens" on this group ;-)
Fortunately or unfortunately (it's all about perspective), there are encyclopedias worth of information the CCIE lab can test us on. To be guaranteed to pass, we just need to know them all. ;-) Not bad, right?
With Hoot and Holler being a relatively new topic, it has made its way into many practice labs as a new technology to know, so that could in fact be the basis of this question. I agree with Scott that knowing as many things as possible will increase our chances of passing the lab. Unfortunately I think new topics are coming out faster than I can keep up with them, so it's a tough up-hill battle. However, that is precisely what makes this prestigous certification the "cream of the crop" that no other certification in the industry can hold a candle to! And while it's tough to accept that now (having not passed yet), once each of us passes I'm sure we will be very glad only the elitest networking gurus in the world are welcomed into this group. I'm just waiting to accept my invitation........ annnnnnd studying a bit in the process. ;-)
Ken
