The command no ip directed broadcast will prevent this type of
broadcasting on an interface. Check to see if it is configured on the
routers that aren't working.

Subject: Broadcast

We have 12 frame sites. I don't understand how I am able to send
broadcast to
all, but two sites. One thing I noticed is that two sites that I can't
send
broadcast to have 1720 with 12.0 IOS. The ones I can send broadcast to
are
running on 1602 with 11.1 IOS.

When I say broadcast, I mean we have this software Neoware to locate all
the
thin clients (citrix) in the network by sending broadcasts.I mean we
have this
software where you type in 192.168.138.255 and it will broadcast to
locate all
the devices inside that network.

I thought the routers don't forward broadcast then why is it doing it on
1600
series and not on 1720s. The configs look exactly same on both
routers.I m
confused.plz help!
