Ethertype 6000 is an OLD Decnet type frame. If I recall, it was
expirimental... But before my time. :)
They abandoned it (smart folks!)
On the other hand, it's also used for X25 over LAPB over Ethernet for Linux.
Slightly more exciting stuff, although I don't think Cisco had this one in
mind!
