Hi Sergio and Alsontra

Thanks a lot for your quick response. When I looked at Sergio's supporting URLs, I see that I have to get good look at Doc CD(www.cisco.com/univercd). Serio another help, do you how to get to support URL for behaviour of default routes within different routing protocols and doc explaining ip default network 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 and ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 for different routing protocols. If I am right before IOS 12.2 default static route is redistributed to rip domain by default and not in new IOS(you have to use default information originate command)

Hi Mani,

A. You cannot set the administrative distance in EIGRP against certain
routes or sources, as you can with other protocols. The command does not
work this way with EIGRP.

Asunto: AD of external EIGRP route

Hi Group,
(a.). How do we change the AD of external routes(for one network). I do
not want to use "distance eigrp AS# 90 170, I want to change D EX for only
one particaular route say. 3.0.0.0/8.

(b). How do we advertise a default route in EIGRP without redistributing
default route into eigrp.

(c.)Variance command is used for unequal cost path load balancing, How can
we use variance command to load balace over muliple path(variance 2) and
send 2 packets over first link and 1 packet over second link

any good answer is appriciated

thanks
