Richard,
I really believe that the company should give you a grade, and should be able to give you better feedback than the actual CCIE lab exam. For example the internetwork expert mock lab, they will give you a number grade, and based on the grade they should be able to tell you if you are at least in the ball park of passing the exam or not. I did their mock lab workshop, and I thought I was ready, but because I did not go through their workbook before, I did not score well on the mock labs, the feedback I got from them was based on the scores that I received from the mock labs that I took. They stated what the score was to receive from their experience of previous students that have gone on to pass the exam. Even though I did not score well from the mock labs, I had already scheduled the lab so there was not much I could do at that point. So then I completed the mock lab workbook, than took another mock lab and scored a 98%. Needless to say the brians thought I would be getting m!
y number soon. Also I took another mock lab just to be safe, because I wanted another point of view, because I felt taking the mock lab was easier because I went through the lab workbook. So again, please folks look at the mock lab, there are several vendors that offer it, so make sure you take time to look at the vendors out there and make the appropriate choice.
Sincerely,
John Matijevic CCIE #13254.
