Well, there are personality differences among different medical
specialties. If you watch a bunch of residents playing dealer's
choice poker, you will find the surgeons playing twos and threes wild
stud, and the internists doing a very careful draw.

Alternatively,
Surgeons know nothing and do everything (as fast as possible)
Internists know everything and do nothing
Psychiatrists know nothing and do nothing
Pathologists know everything and do everything, but too late.

Observations on Dermatology (in fairness, real dermatologists tend to
be very smart and also very cost-effective. But they do get their
share of twitting)
    Why become a dermatologist?
       Your patients never die
       They never get well
They never get you up at night
The Laws of Dermatology (which might be adapted to CCIE)
If it's wet, put a drying agent on it.
If it's dry, put a wetting agent on it.
If what you are doing is working, keep doing it.
If what you are doing isn't working, try something else.
If all else fails, prescribe lots of corticosteroids.
