Guys,
Sorry for the OT, but this is not technically a CCIE Lab question. I was
just wondering if anyone here could comment, or even anyone from Cisco
themselves.
My company, LanBase wants to apply to become a premier partner. We have a
Sales Expert, a CCNP and a CCIE in R&S (Myself).
However, despite of holding a CCIE badge, Cisco are insisting I sit a
Routing and Switching written specialisation exam, which, from what I can
see ranks alongside the CCNP exams. Surely, given the integrity of the CCIE
you should not have to do this. The CCIE should be an acceptable
qualification that you are a Routing and Switching Specialist. Also, I
suspect that you would have to re-certify two sets of exams.
Has anyone any experience of this...
Many thanks,
Malcolm
