Ken,
I am actually staying at Comfort Suites (right beside the Wingate)! I was
looking forward to the vacation for 2 days before the big lab, but actually
right now it is raining cats and dogs! I like Comfort Suites for the Hot tub
and pool. And they also have free breakfast: make your own Belgian waffles,
eggs, bacon, etc.
Hopefully I will come out on top this time and leave some good karma for
you!

Are you staying at the Wingate? If so, just ask them at the front desk.
They are very knowledgable of the area and perhaps the most friendly
people I've ever met. They will make recommendations based on what you
are looking for (good recommendations too!). If you are driving, they
will give you copies of directions to get you to whatever place you are
interested in. If you aren't driving (or even if you are but want to
take a rest), they provide FREE shuttle service to wherever you want to
go (tipping is optional)!
They really make the stay quite pleasurable... until 7:15am the next
morning, you'll feel like you are on... ((gulp))... vacation. :) But
don't worry, you will quickly be yanked back to reality when you hear
the proctor say... "You May Begin."
