Oh, I understand. (wincing at what is now called the Berkowitz
Battalion on alt.books.tom-clancy, and now spreading to
alt.fan.heinlein. I gave a very good discussion on military
organization, but accidentally put "battalion" on the "division" line.

And you got me thinking about distributed FIB synchronization. AFAIK,
you can only CEF load balance across lines of the same VIP, or main
processor. Load-sharing across different VIPs would require
different views of the same RIB, if the active forwarders were on
more than one RIB.
